Hydrogeological study of new groundwater sources, Los Andes,
Calle Larga, Real Curimón and Rinconada sectors
Challenge
Esval asked us for a hydrogeological report based on collected and analyzed data of wells and areas that they posses in Los Andes town.
As a consequence of recharge deficit that aquifers in central Chile have endured in the last years, in addition of an increasing demand of drinkable water for real estate project development, there is a scarcity of water resources. Then, it was required to determine new supplies nearby the drinkable water supply systems that the company holds.
Results
Once the above mentioned procedures were well developed, a consolidated report was elaborated along with maps showing point location to drill wells.
Besides, reference terms and recommendations that define the better well design were given to our client.
