SQM asked Aquist for technical supervision of rehabilitation and pumping test procedures of 4 wells in their property with the goal of increasing the supply of one of their plants located in Nueva Victoria.

A video inspection was conducted inside of each well, in which we could see no structural problems and different kinds of well screens.

The rehabilitation procedure was executed using a percussion machine.

At the end of each development, pumping tests were performed to confirm the well yield and the efficiency of the procedure applied.

Several technical procedures were elaborated and handed to the employed entity in order to follow them through each stage of development (well rehabilitation and pumping test).

Finally, after analysing the results, yield calculations were brought for each well along with the efficiency of works.
