Well examination at Fish Farm plant – Rauco, Chiloé, Los Lagos Region, Chile.
Requirement
Due to a performance decrease in a 100 m depth well, a Fish Farm asked us advisory on an examination diagnosis for their groundwater collection.
Work Done
To examine the well status, we did:
- Gathering of the construction record of that well.
- Supervision of the video-recording examination in order to make a structural evaluation.
- Mechanical cleanup.
- A pumping test to determine the possible and sustainable pumping flow.
Results
As an outcome, we accomplished an improvement in the pumping well performance along with a report of the examination and recommendations to sustain the necessarily flow for the productive activities at the plant.
