ESVAL S.A. asked us for a survey to estimate the interaction produced due to pumping activities in well P4, which is one of the wells in the DWPS, with the nearby Aconcagua river.

To accomplish this task a deep analysis to the pumping test was made along with the stratigraphy of the area, the calculation of the aquifer’s hydraulic parameters and the spatial relations between the well and the river.

Based on the recommended methodology shown in the DGA’s Norms and Procedures Manual for the Managing of Water Resources, we determined the interference produced in the river due to the well pumping activity.
